This is Kurume Kasuri, one of Japan's three major Kasuri fabrics.
Made of cotton, it is breathable and cool in summer, with a pleasant texture. In winter, it traps air for warmth and comfort. The more you wear it, the more it becomes familiar to your skin and develops a beautiful texture.
It is characterized by its indigo-based patterns of Kasuri and bleeding, and the craftsmanship of over 30 processes has been designated as an Important Intangible Cultural Property for cotton for the first time, and the product itself has been designated as a Traditional Craft Product.
