– Based on the m.u Summer Rompers, the m.u Shaka Rompers have been updated to take advantage of the look and characteristics of CORDURA fabric, giving it an outdoor feel. While standard CORDURA fabric contains polyurethane only in the weft, the fabric used in this piece contains polyurethane in both the warp and weft, resulting in a material with stretch in both directions. The back of the garment can be opened and closed with snap buttons from the collar to around the waist, just like the Summer Rompers, but an additional snap button near the neckline has been added to minimize the gap at the back, making the inner layer less visible. Additionally, snap buttons have been placed on the ribbed cuffs, allowing you to easily roll up the sleeves or use them like thumb holes. The back half of the hem features a relaxed ribbing and has snap buttons on the outside, allowing you to adjust the silhouette and length by gathering the hem with the buttons to match your preferred footwear, whether sneakers or sandals. You can create your desired silhouette by tightening the drawcord around the waist while still maintaining a relaxed look and using the snap buttons at the hem. The lightweight fabric is extremely easy to put on and take off, featuring a comfortable wearability. The fabric is durable and also water-resistant, making it suitable for various situations.
