Vintage cape with a matching dress from the 1960s - 1970s. Based on garment construction, may have been a pattern & fabric from B Altman that someone sewed at home. Cape looks professional, but interior seaming of the dress indicates a well done home sewing project. No commercial tags on, and neither have material tags. Guess is wool blend for cape and the skirt of the dress, and polyester for dress top and cape lining.
Cape has arm slits, open construction with a wide collar and 3 buttons at neck. The dress is collared, long sleeved, ribbed top, a-line skirt. Attached side-closure belt matches closure detail of the cape. Pleated skirt. Navy and white herringbone paired with bright yellow!
Listing this outfit as size S/M but please look at measurements. Cape should fit up to a size large, but the dress has a smaller bust and hips, hence the smaller overall sizing for the outfit.
Some light discoloration and spots on dress, cape is in excellent pre-loved condition.
