A lovely circa 1910-1920s pin made by Roden Brothers, a Canadian company that produced jewelry while Canada was still part of the British Empire and called Dominion of Canada . The brooch features a floral enamel design with the royal coat of arms over sterling silver and was likely purchased as a piece of tourist jewelry. Fastens with a locking safety clasp on the back side and marked for Sterling silver, plus the Roden Brothers hallmark. Total weight is 10.9 grams and length is 2 1/8 .
