This is a photograph, very rare photograph taken in Nice France of the Crystal palace ( Le Palais de la Jetee Promenade). The construction began in late 1891 and was finally completed after several downfalls and mishaps. This was an elegant place for the elite to walk and enjoy the ocean view. It was a casino as well.
This photo was taken by N. D,Photo Co. and mounted as well. I do not know the actual date of the photograph. Unframed item, overall 10 X 23 inches.
