My home sits on approximately 20 acres of land in a small rural town in Indiana. A few years ago, I noticed that the rain runoff from the neighboring crop field of 60+ acres had eroded a certain area of my property as it also feeds into my 4 acre pond (good natural arrangement), resulting in frequent deposits/exposure of shards of broken glass of all shapes and colors. In working to remove some of the excess sediment, my shovel just kept hitting more glass. I soon found my first Ball Jar dated at 1910-1923. Then another dated 1858. Turns out an old farmhouse or barn had been abandoned and is now a buried time capsule that my daughter and I now explore daily, usually with new gems being discovered. My items are direct from the earth and hand cleaned if not broken. Happy viewing and please message me with any questions!
