Scranton, Pennsylvania area corporate seal embosser likely for a for profit trolley transportation company. Corporate seal 1900 date. Cast iron construction with bronze and lead at seal area. Indented body press with looped handle. Paper maker mark at lead base appears to read C. Tucker Stamp Maker Philadelphia. Black painted body with gold accents at indents and other locations. Areas of the original finish worn off and has some areas of rust and small pitting. About 10-7/8 tall with handle in upright position and about 7-1/4 tall when handle is down. About 6-1/2 long at base and about 2-1/8 wide at base. Makes a seal impression that is about 1-7/8 in diameter. Item weighs about 5 pounds 3 ounces.
