RARE Antique 1920s Lucile Somarco lace brassiere. This is a very rare antique piece from the 1920s. According to its previous owner, it is worn like a chest flattener to help you achieve the flapper look. The brassiere is in great condition for its age, only flaw is a few repairs and a very small hole that is easily fixable. It is very wearable, but just be careful. The measurements are: Length center front 5.5”
Lace 24”. Silk band 8 1/4”. Bottom band 28”. 32” bust. (Credits to previous owner for the measurements). According to her, this brassiere was the first one she has seen physically in her 40 years of collecting! How cool is that? And personally, this item is by far one of my most rarest antiques I’ve found. I love collecting rare items, but I have to start selling them to fund my trip to one of the seven summits.
