Large porcelain charger plate with flared body, on short foot; painted in polychrome with gilt highlights depicting chariots, birds and blooming peonies in reserves; with blossoming lotus flowers and sea wave design between; foliate motif in the center. Underglaze blue design with polychrome highlights on the outside with double blue underglaze circles around foot. Marked with overglaze iron red three character mark on underneath. Late Meiji Period
