This is a very old and rare tin. The brushes are also very old / fine and well made. I have not tried cleaning this in any way, I'm sure with some tlc this will clean up beautifully inside Also. Closed this measures 8 wide 2 deep and about 1/4 thick closed . It has Devoe & Reynolds embossed on the bottom centered and Chicago embossed in one bottom corner with NEW YORK embossed in other bottom corner.
