Offered is a rare set of 4 ceramic appetizer plates with an American vibe, thought to have been offered by Jo Ann Stores (circa. 2006) as part of their Patriotic Collection. These charming plates present stylized images of colonial-era buildings and flags. (Interestingly, the number of stars on the flags number between four and six.) These plates provide a unique expression of americana that is just right for summer picnics or other outdoor dining, or during any one of several American patriotic-themed holidays.
The plates are about 5 5/8 inches square. They are in nice vintage condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or stains. One of the plates (the one with the orange building) has some apparently age-related crazing on both sides but is only minimally perceptible on the front.
Use these plates for appetizers, snacks, or use your imagination. They would look great displayed.
