This listing is for two vintage Pyrex bowls in the‘Early American’ pattern. The large bowl is 4 quarts & number 444. It is a caramel brown & surrounded with early American designs of ephemera in gold. The second bowl is 2 1/2 quarts & number 443. It is a milky white & decorated with the same various items but in the matching brown of the larger bowl. The largest bowl does have some flaws. There is a small chip on the spout & some small scratches to the outside. It’s nothing major but it is in more than one spot.I have included photos. The white, smaller bowl is in good condition with no chips, scratches, cracks or flea bites. This pattern is not the most popular,it is one of my favorites because of its rich, contrasting colors. Also, free trivia! In the mash potato scene of Close Encounters of the Third Kind he’s scooping his potatoes from the brown bowl!Measures: Brown:4 Q,13”wide with spouts,10”without, 6“tall,5 1/2 deep.White:2 1/2 Q,10 3/4 with spout,8 1/2 with 5 1/2 tall 5 deep
