Northwood's Three Fruits is extremely popular and rightly so. It has an attractive combination of fruits and foliage and enough variety in edge treatments, backs, colors and base configurations to satisify the most compulsive of collectors.

Tremendous green carnival glass (iridized) ruffled bowl featuring the pattern THREE FRUITS made by the Harry C. Northwood Glass Company of Wheeling, West Virginia, circa 1908. It is signed on the exterior center with the Northwood trademark underlined N in a circle.   The back of the bowl is plain.   The plain back makes this item a bit more scarce.
Great condition with no chips, cracks, or restorations.  There are a couple of small embeds in the glass from manufacturing (please see closeup photos).  The iridescence is spectacular and has the effect of turning the green glass to a turquoise or dark aqua near the center interior.  Just astounding!  Lots of bronze, purple, and yellow undertones.
