This beautiful & highly collectible porcelain purse box by Rochard, Limoges has a brass tone chain handle, clasp, and purse opening edge that wraps to a hinged metal frame. The porcelain has been hand painted with an intricate soft blue swirling ribbon frame around a pink and green rose bouquet; on the opposite side, a single rose is framed by an intricate soft blue swirling ribbon frame. The inside of the purse is white decorated with a soft blue swish on each side. The box has a lovely clasp that snaps shut securely. The lid hinge has a divet that is meant for the lid to rest against and and stay propped open without swinging back. The thoughtful design detail not only prevents damage, but also stops the box from toppling over with imbalance.
