This is a World War II Swiss shovel. This shovel comes with the original leather scabbard, and both are in good condition. The wooden handle of the shovel shows some slight scuff marks and wear here and there, and the metal portion of the shovel has some rust and patina present. On the head of the shovel, there is a series of characters reading, “R.G. & CIE , 44.” The leather scabbard is in good condition as well with some scuff
