Raised relief terrifying ghost story, Tam o' Shanter by Robert Burns. One scene shows Tam drinking at a tavern with his friends at the beginning of the story . Then Tam disturbs some witches while riding home from a tavern late at night, and they fly after him in a rage. Scenes on the pitcher show Tam and his horse galloping through a haunted graveyard and flying witches. One witch has most of the horse's tail in her left hand after having torn it off, and is hanging onto the nub of the tail with her right hand, just before Tom reaches the bridge which the witches can't cross. The handle of the pitcher is in the shape of a horse's tail, with the witch's arm up the side and her hand around it at the top
