This wedding plate by Hutschenreuther, Germany was designed by Ole Winther, a Danish artist. This wall plate is signed by the artist and dated 1978. The porcelain plate features a bride and a groom in a wedding coach surrounded by birds, flowers, and a cherub driver. Lovely tints of blue and green over antiqued gold background, the plate edges are trimmed in gold.
The plate is a limited edition and is numbered 1233 out of 10,000. A lovely gift idea for a new bride or groom or for a wedding anniversary, or a collector.

The plate measures 11 1/2 (29 cm) square.

Very good vintage condition.
There is a hook on the back to hang the plate on the wall.
