Plugs into the wall, 110 outlet, and behind the waterfall it lights up. Master Crafters authentic genuine clock, in great condition. Light works, as does clock. Keeps perfect time. It was my grandmother's, and she took great care of this. Rarely ever even plugged it in, and only did a few times to show us grandkids what it did. It's a beautiful clock and a rare find, especially in such good, completely original condition. Smoke free home.
