The shutter works (it seems to be a model that can take pictures even without batteries). When you insert batteries and half-press the shutter button, the top part of the viewfinder lights up, indicating that it's powered on. It seems to have autofocus, but I'm not sure how to confirm it.
I don't know much else about it, so I'm selling it as junk. Batteries are not included.
