Lantern comes with tag, no box nor manual. So I’m assuming it could be new, but I’m not an expert. It does look in great condition to be about 50 years old, shiny colors, clean. It has a couple of scratches on the back, base area and some very small writing with black marker. Not tested. Given the age of the lantern, it might need new batteries. 2 new fluorescent tubes in package. 16.5inch tall without handle
