This stunning piece is a vintage fan-shaped covered candy dish, crafted from very heavy cranberry pink pressed glass. Made by the renowned Tiara Glass, this piece from the Cathay line, dates from 1949-1962.
This beautiful dish showcases intricate detailing, with rows of delicate flowers along its outer edge and an ornate design on its base. While primarily designed as a candy dish, it can also be used to store small trinkets on a vanity or nightstand, making it a versatile addition to any space.
In very good vintage condition, this dish has a few tiny chips/rough edges along the inside rim, which can be felt by running your finger across it but are hardly visible. Measuring approximately 9.75 x 8 x 2.25 , it's a rare find, procured from a local estate. Although a maker's mark is not present (which is common), its craftsmanship and beauty are undeniable.
