This is quite old.
There is significant fading (color loss) on the characters of the tiles.
However, since the color was applied after the grooves were carved,
it might be relatively easy to repaint them.
(I haven't done it myself, so I'm not sure.)
I'm not familiar with Mahjong,
so I can't tell if all the tiles and scoring sticks are complete.
There were 4 tiles of each type, and 8 white tiles.
The scoring sticks have a lot of 1s and 8s, and there's a lot of variation. I don't know enough to tell if this is normal.
There are scratches, signs of use, and age-related deterioration.
Please check the condition from the images.
Due to reflections and angles, some scratches may not be visible in the images.

The metal parts of the case (latches, hinges, etc.) are particularly rusty.
The tiles and scoring sticks inside the case are relatively clean.
The tiles seem to have a high-quality feel and texture.
