Addy and Momma took sweet potato pudding to the potluck supper at church on Christmas Day. You can make it, too, by following the traditional recipe that their family used for generations. Mix the ingredients in the yellowware bowl with a wooden spoon. Pour the batter into the cast-iron skillet. It's called a spider because it stands up on three little legs. Pop the pudding in the oven, and decorate with a sprig of holly when it's done.

Addy's Sweet Potato Pudding Kit was introduced to Addy's Holiday Collection in 1993 and retired in 2002. It is associated with the book Addy's Surprise.
