Beautiful lie and white porcelain plate that shows off the craftsmanship of Arita potters. The plate is shaped like a real leaf with wavy edges and veins that radiate from the center. This is visible on the front and back. A beautifully painted landscape design is in the front and on the back are vignettes of bamboo leaves. The plate has a small raised foot that is not totally smooth.
Date: Meiji to Showa periods. 1900’s to 1930’s.
