Rare and aesthetic display specimen of “black rose” cubic phantom barcode fluorite on quartz from China.
A fully natural, collector’s grade mineral featuring a cluster chain of cube shaped fluorite crystals with vivid zoned blue phantoms. The intricate fluorite faces have barcode detailing on this double sided display gem. The fluorite appears black and deep purple in natural lighting but when backlit, the vibrant blue phantom color zoning glows through, defining the fluorite edges.
The fluorite crystals are highly UV fluorescent, with a unique red pink glow! The phantom zoning has a bright UV reaction on many of the cubes. A perfect Chinese mineral display piece at approximately 7 by 4 cm wide and tall, 2.5 cm thick, and weighs 89 grams.
