An extremely rare Cretaceous Amber from Burma with multiple inclusions of insects and plant material. The inclusion of note here is the small fly that is fully encased in a mycelial matrix of fungi. This is more commonly seen in fungal gnat inclusions from Baltic Amber found near or in Russia but hardly ever is seen in Burmite Amber To find fungi inside of a mineral is extremely rare and elusive. There is also club fungus included in this specimen.
