This is an amazing mixture of Vintage Fair Trade African Tribal beads. Some of these beads date back as far as the early 1900's. I was fortunate enough to have a grandfather who was an avid collector and taught me everything I know. Although many of the beads were made in Italy, they always made their way into the largest trade line of those days, which came and went thru Africa because of its infinite resources. These beads are highly valuable and collectible. Its not uncommon at all to see them sell for several dollars per bead..
