Madame Alexander restrung 8 My First Christmas doll. Her eyes open and close easily. She does not have her ornament. There is no lid for her box, but it is still enclosed.
Madame Alexander dolls are held together with rubber bands. Over the years the bands become stretched or brittle. Don't risk buying a doll that isn't restrung. It may become floppy or break in shipping. All of my dolls have strong and tight bands.
