Folks for your consideration is a very Rare Antique 1910-1915 Quilt using 112 Painted Tobacco Cigar World Flag felts. It measures a large 68”x61”.
It was made as a show piece wall hanging quilt.
Look at all pictures. Great condition for age, the flags are very colorful . No holes, wear or tears. The Front is perfect. On the back side look at picture #7. Some bleeding from felt to back side but doesn’t effect front or the age and beauty. There is a tag on back look at picture # 6. It is a tied quilt that is nicely done. The binding is hand quilted.
I may be wrong but there doesn’t appear to be any duplicates of flags. All countries around the world. An amazing flag day historical quilt.
