Just below the bust line there are sashes attached to the side seam that are tied in the back for custom comfortable fit.
Material is very stretchy - so it is fantastic for post delivery fluctuating sizing. Also - it is labeled as a medium, but it could easily fit large. I wore this once when I was in need of a nursing dress that was extremely flexible in the bust area and my size large dress wouldn’t fit my bust area.
I think that this could easily be worn during pregnancy - but I purchased after pregnancy. This is one of the few pieces that I bought at full price because I was in a bind for something that would fit my post delivery bust size and since it can be tightened and worn as a flowy dress even after nursing is done, I figured I would get a lot of earrings.
