Vintage Milk Glass and Scissor Holder with Decorative Pins
This beautiful milk glass candy dish has been given a new life as a pincushion and has 12 openings along the rim to hold all of your pretty embroidery scissors while maintaining their sharp point. It’s 5” across and 3” high.
The pincushion comes with all three pins shown and handmade by me to coordinate with your new pincushion. The scissors are not included. The fabric is from Atsuko Matsuyama’s 30’s collection in a beautiful yellow.
This would be such a lovely addition to your sewing room or a one of a kind gift for the sewer in your life.
Fun Fact
This milk glass candy dish was made by Anchor Hocking and the pattern is called Old Colony. This pattern ran from 1959-1976 and has been discontinued.
