Vintage 1950s Viscount Capital Airlines Promotional Un-Framed Poster
The Viscount was the first passenger airliner to be equipped with turboprop engines, which use a turbine, similar to a jet engine, in order to drive a propeller. At that time, all airliners were powered by radial piston engines, similar in concept to the internal combustion engines in traditional automobiles.
