Up for sale is one (1) antique and very rare Dietz Number 3 Tubular Globe streetlamp, standing over 24 tall. Dietz produced this lamp BEFORE the Pioneer Globe (the most-sold streetlamp in American history). It was in production from 1896 to 1915.

The body, flount, and globe are in good condition given its age, but the burner and lift clip assembly are NOT included. The glass globe may be from a later model, as it does not have the raised lettering seen in catalogs from the era, but it's hard to tell. There is a small dent in the flount, and in one arm - the lamp stands slightly crooked unless the arm is carefully straightened. There are 2 dents on the widest rim. There is minor corrosion where water would have settled, and some paint loss in areas exposed to higher temps during use.

I've included photos of these signs of wear, reivew them closely!

For a 100+ year-old metal artifact subjected to open flame during normal use, this rare piece is in remarkable condition!
