This is a vintage Venetian glass bead necklace. Each one of these 26 glass beads, is intricately hand-painted! The design is called “Millefiori” which is a glasswork technique that produces distinctive decorative patterns on glassware. The term millefiori is a combination of the Italian words mille (thousand) and fiori (flowers).
Measures approximately 25” long
The beads are moveable around the gold-tone chain.
