Stunning vintage gold 1940’s Karu pendant necklace. It is gold tone/plated, two layer design that could be a flower or sunburst. In the center is a lovely Guilloche enamel flower in blue, pink, yellow and green. Shooting from the center are rows of light blue rhinestones. The double layer really makes this a special piece. The pendant is signed, Karu and measures 1.5” long, including the bail. It hangs on an 28” gold over sterling chain. Minor wear, in places. Items hallmarked, “Karu” were used between 1940-1950. beginning in 1950, it changed to Karu Arke. This is such a beautiful piece. That would make the perfect gift on Valentines Day….for a family member, friend or your honey. T1
