Vintage Malachite Graduated Round Beads Silk Cord Necklace - Organic - Hand Cut - Knotted - 17inches
In very good condition, the beads are round, graduated, and cut by hand, not machine. There is a slight variation in shape and size that gives it an organic feel.
The natural Malachite beads are a deep shade of green with natural variations and few inclusions, if any.
Closes with a handmade brass hook clasp that has a lovely warm patina.
The beads are knotted on thick cotton thread, one knot between each bead.
The size of the round beads vary from 5/8 inch (16mm) diameter at the center to 3/8 inch (10mm) at the ends.
The necklace has a hook clasp and is 17 inches long.
