PRECIOUS PEEPERS RABBIT EASTER BUNNY COOKIE JAR by LOUISVILLE STONEWARE ~ VERY RARE ART POTTERY / CERAMIC ~ Made in the USA. Signed Precious Peepers w/ logo. I believe this is circa 1970-80.
Gorgeous thick stoneware, art pottery, thick glaze. Notice the expression on the rabbit's face, eyes looking up in an innocent gaze that seems to ask if anyone noticed he has a cookie. Big precious peeper eyes. Decorated with pinkish interior ears, blue bow, chocolate chip cookie, white bunny cotton tail.
Size is approx 14 tall x 8 wide x 8 deep. Actual weight is 8.5 lbs; packed weight will be 12 lbs.
This will hold a large batch of cookies. It is perfect EXCEPT for a chip on his middle toe. See the last 2 photos. There is no crazing, wear, chipping or other problems....except for the toe.
