Founded in 1968 in San Francisco, California, by Douglas Tompkins and his wife, Susie Tompkins. The logo is inspired by the north face of Half Dome in Yosemite National Park.
- The HUMPBACK series, developed under the concept of keeping your feet warm, uses a lightweight upper material made from recycled polyester and enhances waterproofing with a tech-proof waterproof membrane.
- The insulation maintains warmth even when damp with THERMOLITE T-Down. The ball-shaped insulation has high recovery power even in small amounts, providing efficient thermal retention.
- The insulation is enclosed using an inside baffle structure, which reduces stitching on the upper surface to enhance cold resistance and places a baffle on the inside of the shoe for a comfortable, wrapping wear experience.
- The midsole is molded EVA, combining walking stability and cushioning.
