The South Side of Chicago is home to a franchise that had not seen World Series success for 88 years (1917-2005) before their drought miraculously ended, forever giving them bragging rights over their cross-town rivals. The White Sox spent a good number of those years at Comiskey Park, named White Sox Park originally (and since changed back twice). Comsikey Park is the setting for the scene depicted in this Collection of (112) Comiskey Twilight Diptych Andy Jurinko lithographs. The 36 x 15-1/2 print puts the beholder in the upper deck behind home plate for an August 16, 1988 White Sox vs. Blue Jays game with Jack McDowell on the mound and Carlton Fisk behind the plate.
