Never worn genuine silk kimonos received as a wedding gift. Gorgeous iridescent sheen on the beautiful Crane design symbolizes prosperity and longevity.
Men's is silver and comes with a sash and victory headband. Fitted for a 6' tall medium build man. Women's is red and pink. Fitted for 5'2 -4 petite to medium build woman.
Purchased for around ¥80,000 or a little over 500 US.
Even though these were never worn, the men's kimono has one tiny off-color dot on the left shoulder, but I don't think it is too visible if worn. Please see the picture attached. I don't know how to clean silk but I know that you have to be careful with it. They have been stored for several years and have fold wrinkles, so they probably need a freshening. I'd rather drastically reduce the price and let someone else figure it out. I'm just being honest.
