vintage Midcentury handled bowl or tureen. White cherubs cavort on a cobalt glazed background of the ovular bowl, which rests upon a 4 flare footed pedestal. The piece is hand-painted and trimmed in gold. made in ITALY and the number 500 (the model # of the design) is carved into the bottom. This fancy decorative piece bears a strong resemblance to the Capodimonte putti style.
Approximately Measures 5 5/8 high, 9 1/2 long (handle to handle), and 3 3/8 wide. It is in good vintage condition, with a bit of crazing on the bottom. No breaks or cracks
