You can tell this piece was very well loved and used as you can see by the wear and crazing on the interior. It's a robins egg blue with brown edges and a brown interior. It has the smallest glaze chip on the very edge of the lid, you can see in the photos how very minor it is. Otherwise in wonderful vintage condition. Medalta potteries was manufacturing ceramics from 1916 to 1954.
