Vintage PYREX Forest Fancies mixing bowl. Forest Fancies was released on 4 sizes mixing bowls, the 401, 402, 403, and 404. This is the 403, it is the second largest bowl in the 4 piece set. Forest Fancies replaced the Homestead pattern in response to changing market trends. It features the same speckled background style, although they are different colors. Safe for oven and microwave, not for stovetop or broiler.
80's vintage. The pattern was introduced in 1981 and ended in 1986. Forest Fancies was only released on a limited number of dishes, mainly 2 styles of mixing bowls. By the time the pattern went into production PYREX was no longer making oval casserole dishes, fridge sets, and a few more items.
4 tall, 8.5 round top, 4 round base. Holds 2.5 quarts
Very good condition. No structural damage like chips or cracks. The pattern is perfect, no scratches or fading. There are a few minor surface scratched, mostly by the bottom, but they blend in with the speckled brown color. There'
