We believe that this unique box was a commemorative souvenir celebrating 100 years of electricity. It bears a replica of the placard that was often placed in businesses which notified customers how to use the new electric lights and that they were not harmful.
I am, however, not sure of this box’s origins and it does not bear any manufacturer information. It has not been altered or refurbished; therefore it does have wear on it, which is visible in the photos. There is a crack in the box, also visible in the photos.
