This music jewelry box was manufactured in Japan during the time period from 1970 to the present. It features a wooden construction and has been tested to be in working condition. The box is designed with a windmill motif and plays music.
The box has a drawer under the windmill. The drawer measures 2 3/4” X 2” X 1” deep. This drawer is red felt lined. When this drawer is opened the windmill turns and the music plays. The chime is wound by turning the windmill.
The house next to the windmill opens to reveal a jewelry box that id red felt lined with a mirror inside the lid. The jewelry box area measures 4 1/4” X 3 1/4” X 2”.
There is a wear spot under the windmill where the drawer has worn the paint off on the base.
