Vintage 1988 Disney The Little Mermaid Ariel Musical Jewelry Box. Stands about 6.5 wide by about 5.5 deep by about 3.5 tall. The exterior features a colorful design with Ariel on the front and top (with the castle from the iconic Disney animated classic). A metal clasp allows the box to be locked shut. When opened, the teal blue interior with a small mirror and a spinning Ariel is revealed, playing the famous song Part of Your World . The box has some minor wear but is otherwise in great shape for an item 35 years old. The music sounds good when the back dial is wound up. It's a great item for anyone who loves the characters or music from the classic Disney movie.
