This vintage nice white hinged box is completely handmade of birch in 1990s in USSR/ Belarus at Belarusian Arts and Crafts Factory located in Zhlobin City. After box is done person who prepares box for artist paints it by white oil paint. Artist hand carves this box after painting. Because birch is light result after carving is wonderful. Look what kind of skill is involved in this work!!!! If you look carefully you will see that each carved detail is slightly different because it was cut by hand not by machinery; from the other hand the carved details are very similar because of high skill of the artists. The interior of the box is beautifully lined with yellow fabric. You can use it for jewelry or any other purposes. These boxes are wonderful gifts for any occasion. Also, they are very collectible because they were made in USSR. Size 8 x 7 x 2.75h'', lined with fabric. Excellent vintage condition.
