Enjoy your drinks with these gorgeous handmade wooden coasters! The process starts with each piece sanded individually to ensure the surface texture is smooth. Each piece is engraved with the designated design. After the engraving is complete, I apply a pre-stain. The pre-stain is important because it not only conditions the wood but it also brings out the beautiful natural grains. After the pre-stain has dried, to ensure the coasters are protected from damages caused by temperatures, liquids and even light, I apply a polycrylic protective finish. A crystal clear satin finish that will give a little shine and enhance the engraving. This would make an amazing addition to any room in your home!
