Primitive, vintage Mexican Folk Art, hand carved and painted Jesus Cristo on the cross. A black Jesus hangs on the cross with John, his mother Mary and Mary Magdalen kneeling below him. Very rustic image. This is from my husband's collection that he’s had for over 25 years. 6 1/2 tall, 5 1/2” wide, the base is 5 1/2” x 2”. In very good condition for its age. No artist signature on the bottom.
