Antique print/plate taken from the 1854 book Fresco Decoration and Stuccoes of Churches & Palaces In Italy During the Fifteenth & Sixteenth Centuries with Descriptions, by Lewis/Ludwig Gruner. The plate is titled Key for colouring plates 1 to 31: Palaces, Villas, etc . The page number is in roman numerals at the top right, but that area is slightly torn so I can only see an XI . The frame was destroyed, and the print is adhesed to the matte at the top 2 corners, so it is being sold in the matting. The plate itself is approximately 21 3/4 long x 15 1/4 wide. In the matte, it measures approximately 27 3/4 x 21 1/4 . Some tears, wrinkles, and disoloration around the edges.
